Hou Nian Chu Er...

The 2nd day of the Lunar New Year was spent being a chauffeur for all personnel who had no private transport and had to be personally whisked off by me to my place. Didn't help that the weather wasn't good for the whole day too, with all that rain pouring down from the heavens.

Played around with more kids this time particularly with Evan and his elder sister Heather, my nephew and neice respectively. It really didn't take long at all for Evan to warm up to me or anybody, he's the type that is super playful and sporting and doesn't cry when handled by strangers. The perfect baby to "pass around" during those family gatherings/wedding dinners etc..

Saw my cousins too most of them haven't changed much, especially YH.. She is totally... the same old stunning and gorgeous her I met every year several years ago. Not that I am interested in her or what (She should be older than me by at least... 5 or 6 years?) but if you see her you might forget you were living on planet Earth for a moment... Ultra chio bu + super duper nice smile and nice manners ... AHH!!!! Haha!

Very soon the house was quite crowded with all the kids runing around, the adults playing blackjack, the elderly people sitting together and chatting over food, the women cooking in the kitchen ... and me walking around with the universal social toolkit which happens to be Evan.. Haha. This year was quite special because I got to catch up with JY, my nephew whom I have lost contact with for the past n years.. (n is an element of positive integers) Found out that he's from the top CS clan in Singapore which is GBR. I think their skill level is around that of.. let's put it this way by just using their headphones, even if you blindfold them they might still win you. Haha! Quite surprised to hear that he's from GBR and was once in their top team and had even gone overseas to take part in competitions before.

At night, I played mahjong with my army friends with JY occasionally switching with me or Ivan for a quick game or two. Playing with such skilled players is always damned stressful because they know how to "guard" you and for good players they will be able to predict who's holding what tiles. We played till 6am and before I knew it everyone was in dreamland after I had my shower. Oh well as Yonghe said, if you can't convince them, join them! So join them I did and that basically marks the end of Hou Nian Chu Er...
