Is there a perfect way to study? Or rather, is there a perfect, effortless way to get good results in studies? Guess not...
Reading my Mathematics notes is really a bit mind-boggling already.
Your mouth just gapes when you're supposed to figure how to equate 0.499999.. = 0.5
Using some very lame manipulations you'll eventually be able to get it anyway~
I'm very proud of my desktop wallpaper now I have changed it from the "Barcelona can wait" picture to the engine bay of a Porsche 911 GT3. (To make it simpler for the "animally inclined"... its something like sawing open a whale shark's belly and having a good view of its innards etc etc, yeah I got that on discovery channel)
Animesuki.com is down by the way, which means I can't check if there's any new episode of Naruto or not.. damned!! I am so bloody addicted to Naruto, its possibly worse than nicotine and heroin combined! Speaking of which I just finished chatting with PC, and egging him on to kick his smoking habit. It isn't really a bad habit for me, its more like a health issue especially when I go out with him I would really appreciate not walking behind him and into the permanent cloud of smoke.
Not to mention he isn't exactly very well-off either, the previous time he bought a pack I remember it cost $7++ and he was cursing and swearing cos the GST had already increased overnight. $7, I could do so much with it man. Cut down 2 packs a month can eat 15 days supper, play jackpot 90 times, buy 4D, well that's not the point but you could spend the money on something better than blowing away your life, that's what my cousin told me before I was enlisted. That was one of the things I constantly reminded myself when I saw army people smoking like there was no tomorrow.
I think the exact words he told me was, "Most guys pick up smoking in army because there's nothing much to do so just blow smoke lor! You better pick up something useful in army and spend your time constructively inside if not you'll end up blowing smoke together with them too."
Its tough to comprehend what actually makes a non-smoker try his first stick but I can say up till now in my 21+ years of life I haven't been tempted much to try to learn how to smoke. (Heng ah buddy you never end up a smoker leh..)
To all those who are reading this blog (think I can count with 1 hand haha) if you're a smoker, try to kick it. The $ factor should be enough.. for the non-smokers, well... curiousity killed the cat (except my buddy lah)
Listening to Jay Chou - Eastern Wind Break (Eastern fart?)
Dong Feng Puo
Is there such a hanyu pinyin "puo"? Anyone can advise? I wanted to put "po" but it looked weird... at least to me~!
