and the prize money was $1 million. This is what's gonna happen...
1. Set aside a substantial amount to pay off the silly house.
2. Buy me an Evo VIII MR!
3. The rest is up to her discretion..
Ah.. wishful dreaming man.. hmm but sometimes its just better to sit and dream than to work towards it. I mean, work towards $1 million, not work towards buying Toto.. haha!
Talking crap with my dad and big sis just now and my dad lamented that we are such "noob" drivers that we probably wouldn't be able to handle the power of such high-end cars. Which is probably true and I'm here to share the finer points of driving! yayee!
In normal everyday cars like my Scooby and Nissan Sunny/Toyota Corolla etc, you would probably have no problem overtaking cars or switching lanes. For starters, let me guess what you would do.. you would check the side mirror, signal in the direction you're gonna cut into and then check the blindspot. That's the proper safety check anyway.. so what's next? You would probably accelerate a little and then switch lanes (assuming you are overtaking), merging into the faster lane with other traffic smoothly.
What happens in the higher-end cars? After conducting your safety check you tap a little on the gas pedal and then you start to steer. That's where the big mistake is because the throttle inputs are so sensitive that your bumper would have kissed the car in front of you before you managed to switch lanes~ Well at least that was what NEARLY happened to my cousin's Fairlady Z. (Yes the same ol' farker)
Lesson of the day: Familiarise yourself with the car and know its limits. In this case, its not crossing the car's limits but rather, crossing the driver's limits haha.

Ohhh.. you touched my..
Tralala.. that silly song is in my mp3 player now. Yes, the one that I carry around when I go out etc.. Haha, sometimes you really feel like laughing on the bus when the guy in the song goes "mmmm my ding ding dong..." whaahhaa he sounds so super lusty.
Just reinstalled "The Sims" as well as "Diablo II" on my computer. I wonder what's wrong with me.. haha playing old games all of a sudden. I'm currently playing a new character who is an Amazon, I'd like to see what powers she will have once she reaches those high levels and I manage to bind jewels onto her weapons, I remember the last time I played with my friend JS.. his Amazon's arrows were target seeking and had fire and lightning damage blah blah blah. I couldn't even fight a fair fight.. totally "pwn3d"
The girl from the "jigsaw puzzle world" just called.. the frame is ready and it will cost a cool $57.90 if my memory serves me correctly. Damned.. I'm already depleting my savings and more "bad news" have to come. Haha..
So much for this post, my eyes are hurting like hell, must have been bad combination of old contact lenses + prolonged exposure to air-conditioned environment. Ciao!

Weird advertisements..
Saw this "weird ad campaign", its an anti-drug abuse campaign at various MRT stations. Its a picture of a rabbit, or rather a drawing of a rabbit and there's a caption that goes roughly as follows, my memory sucks by the way..
"I wish you peace." said Mak the rabbit. And then his friends gave him drugs. Now he can't live his life properly anymore.
Anyone can tell me what is the point of this ad? Because while I know that drug abuse is bad, I still have no idea what the ad is driving at.

Bleah..
Finally finished ICT. Initially I wanted to type something like "finally out of that shithole" but thinking back I thought our accomodation was quite good to be honest, perhaps if you close one eye as to the condition of the toilet. Heard that the medics were cursing their lungs out on the last day(area cleaning).
For the FIRST time, signal platoon wasn't arrowed to clean some toilet or do some incredulous job. It was a pleasant surprise of course, when we heard we were told to clean up the area surrounding the parade square and the cookhouse. All of us went "huh?" I could SO see the huge question marks on everyone's face. Firstly the parade square is seldom or never ever dirty. As for area "surrounding" cookhouse, well its all roads isn't it? We picked up all "non-organic" litter meaning anything but the leaves shed by trees in the vicinity. What a lame job.. perfect for slack signallers like us! (oops)
Highlights of this ICT were, in no particular order...
1. SAR21 conversion course (which we took already in our NSF days.. DOH!)
2. Hmmm maybe it isn't too good an idea to reveal contents of our training programme which is classified as "restricted".
Oh well, I reckon 90% of all SAF documents are classified restricted just for the sake of classifying the documents. (I almost type classificated~...)
The real highlights were, in no particular order...
1. Games day aka booze galore...
2. Sleeping like logs until I woke half of the platoon up in time for the CO assumption parade..
3. Sleeping like logs and then rush to fall in only to wait for the dilly-dallying CSM/RSM..
4. Waiting...
5. Still waiting...
6. Finally, we rush..
7. Only to wait again for the ATC trainers/correct strength/missing idiots etc etc...
8. Unlimited canteen/smoking breaks..
9. Shopping at e-mart!! omg that was so fun! (NOT)
10. Reliving the good old days (priceless!!!)

Yayee
It is Friday already and I'm in the ATC business center again. Right now, the room is packed with fellow bloggers including Dr Lee, Fruchee and Hai~Ren. Haha.. we've been through quite a lot of crap these few days but I guess the catching up and the jokes more than made up for it.
Special thanks must go to PC Lee for offering the use of his handphone which has a starhub line which means I can talk on the phone for hours to go.
Just finished a silly parade which lasted less than 1/2 an hour I reckon but we were complaining to no end anyway. Guess its the reservist mentality that's at work haha. Today is the last day, I mean there is actually tomorrow but that should only be half of a day. If all goes well, we should be dragging our tired asses out of camp say before 1330 hours!
I can already think of all the food I want to eat and all the things I want to do already.. eg: Katong Laksa and playing tennis. That's it for now, this silly computer has an ultra slow connection. I suspect its 33.6kbps... perhaps not even V90.
And if I don't make it, byebye Henry! (Wind Feynman)

Haha..
My apologies for not updating in recent days, a lot has happened in fact but don't think I will post it here haha.
For example, I cancelled the old telephone line for my old house. Wow what an accomplishment haha. I also caught the movie "Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind"
Its a movie more on the "arthouse films" side, the concept is a little abstract but it was entertaining nonetheless. Although after watching it I was kind of drained, maybe used too much braincells already~
Been going out everyday from 15th till 17th of June, shopped quite a lot or rather, window shopped a lot and bought 2 FILA T-shirts at $10 a piece which I consider to be quite a bargain I guess. Cos' Fila stuff would normally go for higher prices anyway. Which reminds me I need to get berms/shorts/jeans rather than T-shirts.. damned.. another instance of my lack of priority haha.
Went out with my Nanhua friends to Geylang for supper yesterday night but I was a bit surprised to see that it was really crowded even on a normal weekday night. Business must be booming for all the people selling food there, and the skin trade as well.. haha!
The oldest profession in the world, the skin trade, you just can't ignore or deny its presence even in a place with such strict laws like Singapore. So anyway we were driving about (muddle-headed me "hollanded" after Lavender St.) and then to our horror there wasn't any available parking lots at all. So after "holland-ing" further we ended up settling for supper at Old Airport Road market.
Fruchee might remember I once tagged along with him and his generous parents, we went there for 'lor mee' right? I can't remember what I ate, I only remember his dad ate a huge bowl of 'lor mee'!! Anyway we ordered.. fried kway teow, fried oyster omellette, fried carrot cake, mutton soup and satay. What a spread for 7 friends haha, and I think it ended up just nice for most of us!
After that we went off to Bkt Timah, where we settled at the 24 hour Muslim coffeeshop and talked crap until around 3 or 4am in the morning before I started sending Eliz and Yuanz home. So that was it for the past few days, hehe.. I must remind myself I am so lucky that I don't have to work these few days, and I can have such a good opportunity to enjoy myself haha!
Till the next post~

Oh man
I still haven't played tennis or gone swimming for the whole holidays unless you count in the Langkawi trip. No serious swimming yet I kind of miss the water, as well as hitting tennis balls with the racket! After watching today's tennis match, as in it was a delayed telecast showing on TV today, Andy Roddick versus Sebastien Grosjean, I am totally impressed by Andy Roddick! Arghh his service has so much power, pace, and "kick" on it! His service reaches 180+ mph. MPH!!! So even for his slower 2nd service, he will apply a slice shot on the ball such that the ball bounces abnormally when it hits the ground and its rather high.
This really makes life very difficult for the opponent to return the ball and even if he does its most probably a high ball and then Roddick will just keep attacking with his ferocious forehand or with his compact double handed backhand. The only player I've seen who is able to handle Andy Roddick competently would have to be Roger Federer from Switzerland. The Swiss is really able to return most of his first serves and my last impression of him was that, he doesn't make unforced errors. He is incredibly all-rounded, fast as in he moves fast, has near to perfect technique be it volleying or drop shots, has a good serve and .. he is really by far the most impressive tennis player I have seen. Andy Roddick on the other hand is just a "power tennis" player, if you have the chance, just watch one of his first serves, it is really a bit absurd, its so fast! Not to mention his forehand, you can see him apply the topspin most of the time, its really way too flamboyant. I think only the top players can deal with hitting tennis balls which are spinning so fast for hours, normal players like the rest of us would probably break our wrists first..
Went shopping today, bought some new clothes and a nice Astroboy "item" for BFSW hehe.. she should really go buy 4D now.. Kind of tired but oh well it was worth it, well worth it?

My favourite Jacky Cheung song..
Repeat
Love is only a memory
只要曾经快乐我也就可以
不留痕迹忘了我自己
Love is only a memory

Mirror mirror on the wall,
Can hint hint this Sunday's numbers? Or will England win their group matches? Haha..
I think I have strained my right forearm.. it is very tense and I can feel a wee bit of pain when I flex the muscle. More probably from carrying huge plates of ngoh hiang than from badminton.
Today the mysterious guy appeared at my house again. I shall presume he is here just to use the computer, saw his yellow Nissan Silvia but actually, why did he choose to paint his car such an awful ah beng yellow? In my opinion even if that car can rocket to 100kph in 5 seconds, its street cred(entials) is still a huge zero lor. So anyway because of that farker, I had to go to Mohd Sultan to "chiong" myself, drove all the way there in our trusty little Scooby Doo and on exiting Stevens Road from PIE I decided to test limit.. hehe~
If you guys can recall, the exit is a huge bend left, and it was there that I decided that I didn't want to brake that hard so I just went easy on the throttle and took the best driving line. Well it wasn't long before Scooby's "talented" chassis started showing signs of giving up so I had to apply the brake. Zzz! Ok at that point I think I heard a faint squeal from the front tires so it would be a much better idea to stop playing a fool. Lesson learnt, the scooby is biased towards understeer (of course..) for safety reasons.
Went to "局士林" to change coins which would have to be the highlight. After chionging then I took a slow drive home, on the way I realised that the piece of land opposite Rail Mall (near Hillview/upper Bukit Timah Road) was being cleared possibly for some new building? Or to make the narrow stretch of road there wider into a 3 lane road? That would be a pleasant welcome but actually makes not much difference. 3 lanes still have to merge into 2 lanes sooner or later.. haha!
Alright I was interrupted while posting this because I had to pluck out the weeds. Doh!
Really tired now my Achilles heel aches from squatting down too much. *Cue music "planting rice is never fun, blah blah yada yada.." *
Just another note to remind myself, I must cancel the old house's telephone line.

Mmmmphffhhff!
Recently the world around me is going topsy turvy.. first my dad's worker ran, then the new replacement pangseh (twice), then now my mother's worker goes MIA for a day. Now its my sister(MIA)! Fantastic, she also getting more and more scandalous, details of which I shall not release haha~
Been going for KTV a lot recently, first with the army guys + bloggers and then with the Nanhua gang where I met up with Francis. He is still the same old him, maybe just that his face was transplanted to another fitter, buffer body. Hehe.. sang lots of songs at the KTV and at one point I really sang over the limit~ Too many Andy Hui songs when all your energy is spent certainly isn't a good idea at all. But I'm still quite happy because I got to sing my favourite "别提的你的心" which in my opinion is one of the nicest Jacky Cheung songs.
Other highlights including slaughtering various Andy Hui songs, Power Station songs by Francis' request and other duets thanks to Yuanz.. -_-'''
Enjoyed myself to the brim anyway :) but don't think I can keep this up for long, the bank balance is decreasing at an increasing rate! Gotta brainstorm for cheaper forms of entertainment soon such as tennis. Been thinking even more after the KTV, some choices are just so tough to make...
*Hakuna matata and goodnight to myself..*

Mind games
Her meaning .. previous holiday assignment..
Her nick on MSN is a question mark inviting "只是心又飘到了哪里,就连自己也看不清,我想我不仅仅失去你。。。"
I hope its just silly lyrics from some Elva Hsiao song, because if it wasn't, look, there won't be any "if"
This is like troubling to me man.. I don't like this, making me do the guesswork. Anyway I will just ignore it because its technically none of my business.
Just to rant this off my chest~

Sigh..
Why sigh? I have no real idea, maybe its because of my pathetic grades, maybe its because of the totally wasted holidays (albeit halfway through), maybe its because of "other things"..
I'm just a bit confused with life now, and yeah, all aspects of life. My dad and friends always say, 船到桥头自然直。Maybe my problem is that I don't have a boat to start off with? Actually the boat is there, just that the captain (which is me) isn't ready to set sail yet. That's because I'm still anchored to the old world of conventionalism, being brought up the way I am, study hard get a job and earn $. Now that I've completed almost .. 13 years of education, I still cannot find the entrance to the "big sea". Still playing silly computer games, still joining my friends for KTV (no offence though), actually spending day after day lazing around at home doing nothing but surfing the net, playing online games and listening to mp3s.
I wonder how different I would have been if I had been in my dad's generation. I always feel that I'll never be able to live life fuller than a person like him. He was brought to Singapore before he could walk and being in a huge extended family, his dad (my grandfather) passed away before he could walk or talk. The youngest of 7 children, he attended school in Singapore. After lessons which ended around 12 noon, he would have 1 hour's grace period to go home, change and reach the coffeeshop at Beach Road to help sell prawn noodles. Anyway without our ah-kong, the resident "dictator" was my eldest uncle, the eldest of the 7 children. So my dad would go home after school, change, perhaps play and monkey around with his neighbour (the hairdresser's kid) and when the big clock on the wall hit 1, he would know it was time to go. Then he would often have to carry "steaming hot" bowls of prawn noodles to customers. Because there were no plastic bowls in those days, all the bowls they used were made of porcelain and so once you drop them, that's it. Its automatically a scalding on your leg and a knuckle down on your head courtesy of my eldest uncle. Did I mention that even if you made it to the end of the day without spilling anything, your palms would still get 水泡 or "pong pah" in hokkien because the soup is so hot it just cooks your flesh?
Can you imagine living such a life? Work after school for everyday of every week, save 2 days of Chinese new year every year. So that's technically 363 days a year. And its not like you have comfortable quarters to live in, going back to your bed was practically diving into a colony of bedbugs. Trust me, you will really scratch till you bleed when you get attacked by bedbugs (I had an experience from secondary school till college..) You think about now, how my family is relatively better off selling ngoh hiang. They used to only have the chance to eat it during Chinese New Year. Yes, it was sold only during that period of time.
Maybe it is only through going through some real tough shit that one can mature. Unlike all of us, living in a cocoon of creature comforts, airconditioners, handphones, computers, radio, television.. How many of us actually make full use of the day that we have to spend? I doubt even half of us that can be so industrious without any pressure on us. Its incredible that a family of 20+ people lived in a shophouse then, fighting for their survival while in my case I'm living with my 4 other family members is a house where we are too lazy to tend to the grass at times. How conceited humans could possibly me you tell me.
After all this pointless and senseless whining I still have no sense of direction in life so .. I really have no idea.

Tiring day...
But it was mostly due to the lack of sleep anyway. I'm not an insomniac but now that I'm not in the army anymore we don't have any "mody baintenance" so the body clock is all haywire now. Now if I have to work tomorrow the earliest I can fall asleep is possibly 2am so taht leaves me with less than 5 hours of sleep. Not bad eh? Well as my dad likes to put it, he's always amazed at how little maintenance I need in financial terms. He actually finds it weird that with increased spending power, we seem to even detest spending more!
Maybe its my elder sister's influence I guess. An accountant/auditor by profession, nothing escapes her eagle eye, when it comes to bills, payments, invoices, letters, receipts etc etc. CPF statements, road tax, housing loans, all, if not most of the miscellanous administrative stuff is taken care of by her. Under her influence I've come to be super frugal, ultra kiasu, find ways to save petrol, cut down on expenses etc. I've asked this question many times, if I suay suay really had to follow only 1 member of the family for the rest of my life, I would really choose my elder sister. Of course I might pick my dad or mother based on sentimental feelings and love for them but for pure survival out there she's definitely #1 choice.. haha!
Hmnn for the first time, someone is confiding in me regarding matters of the heart. Maybe not the first person but .. it seems like its the first. Oh whatever, good luck to .. "mysteryman".
Regarding vicious cycles, Yeing asked me about them. Hmnn well its not CORS for sure hehe.. Oh yes tomorrow is my parents' OFF DAY! Yeeehahh!!
/me prays that he can go test drive Honda Accord 2.4 iVTEC/ Honda Accord Euro R 2.4 tomorrow!!! Muahaha!
Or for even more fun, just test drive BMW 318i? Or perhaps.. Saab 95. Oh man I'm high on oxygen! I saw a nice "bike" today, it looks more like a scooter actually and it has a roof over it! Amazing stuff, its not a Vespa anyway, its a BMW C1 I think.. C1 executive or something like that, I'm sure Jingkai will have a better idea of what that is. Quite impressive looking, first bike that actually caught my eye. I wonder what is the price tag though..

Vicious cycle..
Looks like the "cycle" is repeating, hope the ending isn't the same this time..
To all readers in general, I find that I'm one of the more.. sensitive type of guy.. call me a SNAG or SNAP or whatever.. its best to tell me stuff straightforward and don't keep me guessing because I will start thinking about a lot of other things, the implications of your behaviour, mere words, and what they tend to imply. Yeah I think that's what I don't really like about myself I take a lot of things too seriously so I will be disappointed easily in the end.
Talked a bit to Dr. Lee today, and he asked me about holiday assignment. Well, its over but its another chapter in my book nonetheless, another lesson learnt. At least we're still friends, guess that's something I managed to salvage by controlling myself.. =D
I wonder how she would ever feel if she stumbled upon this page.. =/
She's working now, she asked after me yesterday over ICQ, which was our first correspondence since that night. Anyway she kind of apologised to me too for everything.. well maybe I should thank her instead for without a down (dawn) in your life, there won't be a corresponding up~
So while I've managed to find equilibrium on this side of my world, there are still like 1029385790123 other more bastards waiting for me to expose them. Now #1 idiot is actually my cousin can you believe it? Ok lah, who am I to judge but I just hate his guts at the very moment, I super duper hate haolian kias aka showoffs. Still, he is senior to me where the family tree is concerned so I have to call him by the suffix "kor kor"
To prevent such ill-harboured feelings, I have totally stopped calling or greeting him, thus eliminating the possiblity of me needing to call him "TL kor kor". Am I smart or what? LOL.. If not for the fact he has 3 adorable children he would have been included already! Count yourself lucky.. hehe.
To end it off, hope my parents find a good worker tomorrow, actually they have already found 1 its just that whether she has a good working attitude or not that is the important part. So long for now, more kopitiam politics stories will follow..

Renault Megane Coupe Cabriolet!
Saw it in the flesh today as we were having our lunch at Katong kopitiam. It looked very cool with the glass roof, no idea which customer's car it was but although it wasn't the most attention grabbing vehicle on the road, I recognised it the second it pulled into the parking lot~ Not trying to hao lian anyway.. this post is about the car, not me~!
As can be expected this blog revolves around cars and.. cars? With the occasional curse and swear and whine and bitch about idiots in general. Business was brisk at kopitiam today, I really worked like a mad dog (why mad dog? I dunno..) for like 11+ till 3pm non-stop. Alright lah these few days not many incidents but got 1 particular one that made me a bit -_-'''
RVJCG (Random VJC Girl)
RVJCG : "Uncle! 可以帮我们抹桌子吗?
/me mutters random curse..
Hehe.. just a light hearted joke of the day that most of you won't experience~
And I found out that my aunt's maths really really truly madly deeply sucks big time. Oh man.. She is randomly overcharging or undercharging our customers.. I think she really needs to go back to Primary school or something! Worse thing is she simply doesn't seem to give a damn? She can sometimes charge $9++ when the actual price is like $12++!!! That is a huge glaring mistake man.. so now I've got to memorise the price of all the different stuff and have to "catch" her already. (Machiam playing UNO)
As a matter of fact, I've "caught" her on multiple occasions already including today. Really very "jialat" I also don't know what to do, this is "politically sensitive" stuff so I'll leave it to my dad to settle. Meanwhile have to report to dad and mum while I continue to play "UNO"

Grrr!!
I must blog about this before I go to sleep after a long day..
Scenario: I spot a nice looking Honda Accord Euro spec outside the coffeeshop and points it out to my dad and tells him the license plate number is the same as my cousin's Lexus' license plate number. After a while of hesitation my dad asks my cousin, "eh TL ah, TS asks you whether you bought a new car? Honda Accord? The number is also 9XXX leh.."
Cousin (boss of prawn noodle shop) : Honda Accord ah.. hmnn... 我不买日本车的。。
Me:Eh but your Lexus is under Toyota one mah..
Cousin : 哪里是?Lexus 是美国的!
Dad: Then 你的 Fairlady Z leh?
Cousin : 没有。。 那个也是美国的!
Me: ...
At this point of time I have nothing to say but my cousin being such a fucking haolian kia had to talk some more trash...
Cousin : Eh TS, 我听到这句话,我很气煞leh!
Me : *You're fucking included bitch*
First of all Lexus is after all a branch of Toyota, don't talk what cock and bull story that its made in the US of A. After all his bloody GS300 is sharing the same platform as the TOYOTA CAMRY. OK? BITCH..
2nd. Nissan Fairlady Z.. its concept might have been born in USA, Afghanistan, Libya, Kenya or Tibet. Should I bloody translate what Nissan cars mean? 日产汽车! IDIOT!
3rd. I DO NOT understand why he should be the least bit offended. Sure you may have a 3 litre Lexus, sure you may have a Sunday sports car (3.5 litre Fairlady Z) but are you looking down on people who have their aims on a normal Japanese car? I draw this all from his sickening and irritating tone when talking to me. (He is about 10+ years my senior with 3 kids now)
What if I told him my dad was considering the Honda Accord Euro R? Would he have said the same things? Fucking bastard, words fly out from his mouth, via his nasal tract and not via his brain. He's indirectly making us sound like some low-class creature. And mind you that car is NOT cheap either its minimum 100K SGD.. Not your everyday Singaporean can cough up that amount in less than 5 years I reckon.
Hope all fellow readers gather from what I've blogged, it only takes a single sentence to spoil someone's day, a moment's folly to lose other people's respect for you. Please think again before you say something really politically incorrect or inappropriate.
He could have just said "Oh I have my sights on better cars/ I don't like this car/ just shut his bloody trap"
Now I have to read my serenity webpage again thanks to the stupid idiot. I hope his Lexus tyres go flat, and his Fairlady churns out black smoke. Grr! Peace~

KTV, smoking and food..
Sang a lot of songs I wanted to sing with Beng, Ivan and Henry with PC as "special guest" on Monday. Most of them were Jacky's songs, with a certain degree of difficulty and it was to be regretted that I basically slaughtered most of the songs. Haha! Lesson learnt, prioritize your songs so that when you feel you are at your best (warmed up), insert your most wanted hit immediately so that you can sing it at your best!!!
Looks like PC isn't about to kick his bad habit anytime soon, actually I realise that he is really a heavy smoker. The uncles working in the kopitiam are smoking probably at most 3 or 4 sticks a day while PC is smoking probably twice that amount. My mother expressed shock on hearing of his smoking habits, or rather it was GX. (He smoked like crazy in Malaysia..) This reminds me of something I heard @ Caltex opposite my dad's stall on Monday.
RRA (Random rich auntie): How much is that XXX(random expensive cigarette brand)?
Cashier: $xxx..
RRA: Oh wow, so cheap ah? I'll take it~
Cashier: How bout 2 packets for you ma`am?
RRA: Aiyoh come on, don't kill me so fast lahhh..
Well, to all smokers who happen to read this, you know it better than I do because I'm not a smoker and probably won't be one for the remainder of my life. Just a friendly reminder that you should kick the habit for monetary and health reasons with the latter being more important of course. And for the love of God, please do not smoke near kids, I saw this poor boy he was sitting down with his family members and his family members are all lighting up and the boy is like in the middle of a smokescreen.. Its none of my business but spare a thought for other non-smokers please. My secondary school teacher once pointed out "They are using filters and we aren't, don't we have a right to tell them to get lost?"
At least it was somewhere along those lines.. he was the living embodiment of the stop smoking campaign I guess...
Alright that's all for the smoke and KTV post.
I was discussing with Foxy the other day about our eating habits/our diet. Alright for starters I'll make a like/dislike list about foods. Actually I like too much so I'll just list my dislikes.. to "shock" you people.
My favourite food: Prawn noodles cos I grew up on them.
Dislikes: All things too sweet including chocolates, most sweets, ginger, brinjal, bird's nest(who the f needs bird saliva anyway), ginseng/essence of chicken/herbal tea, most junk food when I don't have the cravings.
Just some random notes: Most common craving is Calbee's potato crisps, I used to drink tea with no sugar, now I just add about half a teaspoon.
Now what I don't understand about "most" people is..
1. Chocolate craving. (Although chocolate tastes nice, I simply cannot take the sweetness that comes with it with the exception of bitter chocolates.)
2. Junk food mania. (Just looking at my younger sis devour junk food is amazing, its non-stop. How many packets of potato chips can you possibly finish in a week? Gross! Sickening!)
3. Cakes. (If its ice cream cake its understandable but I think those normal cakes are really filling, my impression of swallowing an oily, creamy butter cake is not a very good one.. hee~)
4. Fried stuff. (Foxy said she has a friend who eats fried food only? OMG.. although it would really bring business to my parents' shops but I can imagine the fluid coursing through his/her veins is not blood anymore, its probably oil..)
5. Coffee. (Though not exactly the unhealthiest beverage around, I still don't really like coffee although it smells very nice. Perhaps its because I've read about the effects of caffeine addiction and how it yellows your teeth anyway.)
That's about it, I sound more and more like a health conscious freak already. LOL.. so guys take care of yourselves and remember to have a balanced diet.
I guess I should say a lot of factors have caused my diet to be the way it is. My family has a long list of health problems including heart disease, stroke, cancer, diabetes, thyroid problems, asthma. My dad himself suffers from Diabetes (I think its type B) so you can understand my fear of having stuff too sweet although its not a direct link to the disease itself. (Rather its the pancreas being unable to produce enough insulin I suppose..)
That's about it (2nd time), will blog more tomorrow night which is Vesak Day. Happy Vesak day everyone!

FRU...
Friendly Random Uncles..
Eh no lah there are always FRA and FRU around, just that today got a certain FRU that, kind of made my day. Actually no. Doh!
FRU: Are you new here?
Me: New? Yeah I've been new here for like 5 years? Or .. more??
Me: Actually no.. I've been here for quite long already.
FRU: *chuckly* Oh... I seldom see you around.
Me: Of course lah duh.. I don't have school?
Me: Oh really? Haha.. (politically correct tone of laughter)
A meaningless round of friendly banter ensues before I say thank you and rush back to the stall to serve other customers.. BTW, I have to say I love Marine Parade's Wantan mee.. OMG the char siew is heavenly... crisp and on the brink of "chao tah" oo la la.. Think its the hawker center at Marine Crescent, one look at the char siew and your saliva will drool, faster than Hai~Ren's anyway!
